The project proposal calls for replacing a two-story structure with an eight-story mixed-use project between Broadway and Pacific Avenue in Chinatown, by the neighborhood’s northern edge. Cafe-owner Mahmoud Larizadeh is the property owner and the project developer. AXIS/GFA Architecture + Design is responsible for the design.

The project will bring over a hundred hotel rooms to a former auto dealership after nearly a decade of review. Greg Jamison of RGJC South LLC is the project sponsor.

Permits have been submitted seeking the approval of hotel development at 1851 McCarthy Boulevard in Milpitas. The project proposal includes the construction of a business hotel with onsite parking. Plans also call for the demolition of an existing office building measuring 48,500 square feet. Luxury Estates & Development is the property owner. Axis/GFA Architecture + Design is managing the design concepts and construction. Jett Landscape + Design is the landscape architect.

The Planning Commission will review plans for the construction of a six-story mixed-use building at 1324-1326 Powell Street in Chinatown, San Francisco. The development will bring 17 units to a parcel containing a vacant structure. The city staff recommendation is for the planning commission to approve the project. Permits Approved for New Hotel at 730 I Street, Downtown Sacramento

Planning permits have been approved for a new eight-story hotel at 730 I Street in Downtown Sacramento, along with the rehabilitation of a Mid-Century modern office structure. The development, dubbed ‘The Hardin,’ would open a 179-key AC Hotel Marriott two blocks from the Golden 1 Center sports stadium and six blocks from the State Capitol. The American Hospitality Services and Sacramento-based Miry Development through 730 I Street Investors LLC are responsible for the project.
