New building permits have been requested for the five-story affordable housing project at 440 Arden Way in Woodlake, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story building offering 100+ multi-family units.  Plan call for replacing a vacated armory building on the site. The project is a proposal from BRIDGE Housing Corporation. LPAS Archtiecture + Design is responsible for the designs. The project will be built by the Tricorp group.

Construction Estimate for Balboa Reservoir Townhomes, San Francisco

New plans have been published for the Balboa Reservoir townhomes, an 89-unit component for the project that will create over a thousand homes next to the City College of San Francisco. The development team, led by AvalonBay Communities and BRIDGE Housing, told the SF Business Times they expect to purchase the land by the end of the year. With plans approved two years ago and the property sale likely, the team is eyeing a groundbreaking by 2024.

Largest Affordable Housing Project in Berkeley Opens at 2012 Berkeley Way

The largest affordable housing project in Berkeley opened its doors last week with an official ceremony for the Berkeley Way Apartments at 2012 Berkeley Way. The event launched the opening of low-income and permanent supportive units and the Hope Center, which now provides supportive services for residents and the community in the downtown urban center, with BART and AC Transit both nearby. The project is a joint venture with BRIDGE Housing and BFHP.
