A Notice of Exemption was recently filed with CEQA, permitting the construction of a large infill project at 555 West Midfield Road in Mountain View. The project is brought by the existing site owners, AvalonBay Communities, who currently manage 404 apartment units at the address. The new project will add an additional 323 units, for a total of 727 on the site.
AvalonBay Communities recently purchased 6200 Bollinger Canyon Road and has announced construction will start later this month on a new housing complex in Bishop Ranch, San Ramon. The development aims to reshape the long-empty 5.7-acre property by adding two new buildings with over four hundred apartments. The project is part of the CityWalk Bishop Ranch masterplan led by Sunset Development Company.
The San Ramon Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tonight for Bishop Ranch 3A within the CityWalk masterplan in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The developer is now seeking to remove all affordable housing for the seven-story development at 6200 Bollinger Canyon Road. AvalonBay Communities is the project sponsor.
Modified plans have been filed for the supportive housing project within the North Berkeley BART Station redevelopment plan. The application utilizes Assembly Bill 2011 to streamline the approval process for the amended iteration, which has increased the overall scale and average size of the 85 units. Insight Housing is responsible for the application.
Construction has started for an over three-hundred-unit residential development at 4452 Rosewood Drive within Pleasanton’s Hacienda Business Park area. The project is replacing 8.4 acres of surface parking from an existing office campus housing and a multi-level garage surrounded by landscaping. AvalonBay Communities is the project developer.
