The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story residential building offering dwelling units and onsite amenities. San Francisco-based Related California is the project developer. MVE + Partners is designing the building.

SummerHill Homes is planning to break ground next week on City Village, an expansive residential development in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. This follows the recent announcement that Sunset Development Company has officially sold the 31-acre parcel at 2400 Camino Ramon to SummerHill Homes, as Sunset is working on its own mixed-use redevelopment of the successful Bishop Ranch office park.
Plans are under review for a new senior housing project at Bishop Ranch 1A in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The proposal is part of the much larger 4,500-unit CityWalk master plan, spearheaded by Sunset Development to create a new district in the city. This first portion will create 183 beds, offering assisted and independent living for seniors living in the Tri-Valley. The Texas-based Belmont Village Senior Housing company is sponsoring the development.

SummerHill Homes will be building the project. Speaking with SFYIMBY earlier this year, President and CEO Robert Freed shared details about City Village and the firm. Construction could start as early as 2022.
