Vertical construction is expected imminently for an advanced six-story factory at 300 Kansas Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The proposal will create new R&D and Manufacturing facilities within a high-tech net-zero carbon building. The project is being developed by Spear Street Capital, headquartered in the city’s prominent Spear Towers.
Renderings have been revealed for proposed townhouses at 889 Moraga Road in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The development will replace a single-story commercial structure and surface parking with thirteen new homes, of which two will be priced below market rate. The Griggs Resource Group, a Lafayette-based real estate company, is sponsoring the project through 889 Moraga Road Investors LLC.
A visit by SFYIMBY has documented construction is humming along with four structures topped out in Gateway at Millbrae, San Mateo County. The project is a transit-oriented mixed-use project that includes market-rate and affordable housing, a Marriott hotel, retail, and office space next to the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station. Republic Family of Companies is responsible for the projected $401 million development.
New renderings have been released for a residential building at 950 Hough Avenue in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The illustrations come as the city council continues to push back a decision to approve the project, which would provide twenty new houses near the city center, of which three will be sold as affordable housing.
