The project has brought affordable housing, market-rate housing, offices, a hotel, and new retail directly across from the county’s largest transit hub, serviced by BART, Caltrain, SamTrans, and eventually, the High-Speed Rail. Republic Urban Properties is the project sponsor.
New building permits have been filed for a four-story apartment development at 950 Hough Avenue by the Lafayette BART Station in Contra Costa County. The proposal was approved in March of 2021 with 20 condominiums, including three affordable units. The Griggs Resource Group is responsible for the project, operating through 950 Hough Investors LLC.
New renderings have been published for a two-story office infill at 3300 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The modern project, designed by Form4 Architecture, will utilize mass timber and floor-to-ceiling windows for a distinctive interior that connects with the outdoors landscaping and plaza. The local firm, Sand Hill Property Company, is the project developer.
Vertical construction is expected imminently for an advanced six-story factory at 300 Kansas Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The proposal will create new R&D and Manufacturing facilities within a high-tech net-zero carbon building. The project is being developed by Spear Street Capital, headquartered in the city’s prominent Spear Towers.
Renderings have been revealed for proposed townhouses at 889 Moraga Road in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The development will replace a single-story commercial structure and surface parking with thirteen new homes, of which two will be priced below market rate. The Griggs Resource Group, a Lafayette-based real estate company, is sponsoring the project through 889 Moraga Road Investors LLC.
