Crews have torn down the vacant funeral home and associated parking lot ahead of vertical construction for over three hundred units between Polk Street and Larkin Street. Martin Building Company is responsible for the development.
Construction has topped out for a four-story development at 715 East Saint John Street in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The Hawthorn Senior Affordable Housing, as the project is named, will add over a hundred units to an acre across from the San Jose Medical Plaza. The Santa Clara County Housing Authority is responsible for the development.
New illustrations have been revealed for the ten-story affordable housing complex at 650 Divisadero Street by Alamo Square in San Francisco. The proposal would replace a single-story commercial structure with 107 new apartments. The Young Community Developer and Jonathan Rose Companies are jointly sponsoring the project in partnership with MOHCD.

Construction is underway for a five-story complex to bring housing and a health center to 3050 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The development is poised to bring new affordable housing and the Native American Health Center to a former surface parking lot. Berkeley-based Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is the developer, with Nibbi as the general contractor.
