3001 24th Street Opens in Mission District, San Francisco

Casa de la Mision has celebrated the grand opening in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. Casa de la Mission is a five-story affordable housing development at 3001 24th Street. Now open, it has opened 44 new apartments intended to housing formerly-unhoused senior residents of the city. Each resident will be referred through the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing’s Coordinated Entry system.

Final design review is pending for a mixed-use project at 1951 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. The project proposal includes the development 0f a residential complex with commercial and parking spaces. Plans also call for the demolition of two existing commercial buildings. Grosvenor America is the property owner. Solomon Cordwell Buenz is responsible for the design concepts and construction. PGA Design is the landscape architect.

Oakland Planning Commission will be reviewing a design review application seeking the approval of a residential project on two parcels located at 8750 Mountain Boulevard in Sequoyah, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of townhouses at a site that formerly housed Oak Knoll Naval Hospital. Oak Knoll Venture Acquisitions LLC is the property owner and SunCal is the project applicant. Danielian Associates is managing the design concepts and PGA Design is managing the landscape design.
