Campus expansion is on track for Samuel Merritt University at 525 12th Street in Downtown Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a ten-story building to serve as the new mail campus for SMU. The proposal also includes a tree removal application to remove ten protected trees. Strada Investment Group is the project applicant. North Carolina-based Perkins + Will is responsible for the design concepts. Oakland-based firm Einwiller Kuehl is the landscape architect.

Pre-application permits have been filed for a new building at 520 11th Street in Downtown Oakland. The project would serve as a new main campus for Samuel Merritt University. The campus is currently located at 3100 Telegraph Avenue in Pill Hill, affiliated with Sutter Health and the Alta Bates Summitt Medical Center. Strada Investment Group is responsible for the application.

Expanded Laboratory for New Sutter Health Building at Polk Gulch, San Francisco

New permits have been filed to expand laboratory space within the recently-completed Sutter Health Building in the Polk Gulch neighborhood near San Francisco’s City Hall. The facilities at 1100 Van Ness Avenue opened in May of last year. The nearly half a million-square-foot structure will soon see work on a new clinical laboratory, offices, and general facilities for the University of California San Francisco.
