Permits have been filed for an affordable townhouse-style development at 335-355 Pierce Road in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The project, named Laurel Landing, will bring eight larger apartments to a vacant lot close to the Belle Haven community center. Habitat for Humanity is developing the project, with MidPen Housing listed as the property owner.

The eye-catching proposal aims to construct over two hundred apartments across a circular six-story master plan for low-income seniors adjacent to a publicly funded medical institution. Mercy Housing is responsible for the application.
