The project proposal includes the development of an office building in the Coleman Highline complex, a mixed-use tech campus that has become one of the most successful and valuable projects in Silicon Valley. Cupertino-based real estate company Hunter Storm is the project developer. Gensler is responsible for the design concepts.
Satellite Affordable Housing Associates have submitted an enhanced preliminary permit for new affordable senior housing at 501 Almaden Avenue in Downtown San Jose. The application comes as Branagh Construction is two floors from topping out Arya at 500 Almaden Boulevard, an adjacent eight-story property developed by SAHA.
Plans for a new cricket stadium at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds have been announced by Major League Cricket and Santa Clara County. The popular sport has been gaining traction in the Bay Area, with the MLC crediting the growing South Asian community as a catalyst for construction in San Jose. HKS will be the project architect, charged with designing a state-of-the-art arena to seat up to 15,000 fans.
A new large-scale housing project is proposed at 70 North 27th Street in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of affordable houses, replacing an existing commercial and retail building that totals 21,200 square feet. Palo Alto-based HC Investment Associates is the property owner.

The development would replace a 10.7-acre portion of a sprawling strip mall complex with nearly a thousand new homes and new retail at 1777 Saratoga Avenue in West San Jose, adjacent to the suburb-dominated city of Saratoga.
