Public Review Period for Suburban Expansion over Pittsburg Power Plant

The City of Pittsburg is collecting public comments about Bay Walk, a mixed-use plan to build nearly two thousand single-family homes, a hotel, and a commercial center building next to the city’s wetlands on the northern edge of Contra Costa County. Demolition will also be required for the now-vacant Pittsburg Power Plant, once the largest power plant in the Bay Area. The Danville offices of Integral Communities is the project applicant.

Approval for CityWalk Bishop Ranch Parcel 1A from $5 Billion Masterplan in San Ramon

City approval has been granted for a seven-story residential development at 6131 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The project, on Parcel 1A, is the very first residential project from the $5 billion CityWalk Bishop Ranch mixed-use masterplan to be approved. Related Companies is the project sponsor, and Sunset Development is the property owner.

Downsized Plans Progress for The Residences at Marketplace, San Ramon

Initial plans for a 284-unit apartment complex at 130 Market Place in a vacant portion of a shopping center have been nixed in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. After receiving an onslaught of community pushback, the centrally-located proposal, nearby City Hall, and public library will now create just 40 single-family units and four junior ADUs. TRC Retail, the shopping center owner, is responsible for the application.
