Development permits have been submitted for approving the construction of a new mixed-use multi-family housing development on 1322 O Street in Downtown, Sacramento. The project proposal consists of a five-story building with fifty-eight studio units and a 1,300 square feet cold-shell retail space. Williams + Paddon Architects manages the design concepts, and construction and Tricorp Construction is the contractor for the project.

Demolition Permits Filed for 1500 S Street, Downtown Sacramento

Demolition permits have been filed for two structures at 1500 and 1508 S Street to make way for an eight-story residential building at 1500 S Street, Downtown Sacramento. The five-lot parcel contains an existing low slung commercial structure and a single-story house. They will be torn down for the construction of 137 new homes. Anthem Properties is responsible for the development since purchasing the property in 2019 for $5.1 million.

The proposal is for a 14-story mixed-use structure with residencies, hotel, and retail use. Venture Oaks Real Estate Group is responsible for the application, filing through the Sacramento Capitol Hotel LLC.

Demolition permits have been filed to make way for a four-story residential building at 1208 Q Street in Downtown Sacramento. The proposal will bring 51 new units to the city center seven minutes from the State Capitol building. Urban Development + Partners is the owner of the property.

Planning permits have been approved for a new eight-story hotel at 730 I Street in Downtown Sacramento, along with the rehabilitation of a Mid-Century modern office structure. The development, dubbed ‘The Hardin,’ would open a 179-key AC Hotel Marriott two blocks from the Golden 1 Center sports stadium and six blocks from the State Capitol. The American Hospitality Services and Sacramento-based Miry Development through 730 I Street Investors LLC are responsible for the project.

The alteration brings 28 new units, making this a 137-unit development. Cliff Orloff of Orloff Property Management Inc. is responsible for the development.

The lot is less than ten minutes from the city’s central California State Capitol Park. The project will add both residential and small-scale office space to an active neighborhood currently covered with surface parking.
