The City of Sacramento’s Planning Department has approved the design review and site plan application for 1121 I Street in Downtown Sacramento. The eight-story infill aims to replace an auto service shop and low-slung commercial structures with 204 apartments in the heart of the city, one block from City Hall.
New plans have been published for an eight-story residential complex at 1023 J Street in Downtown Sacramento. The full-block proposal will clear nearly an acre across from Cesar Chavez Plaza with 256 apartments. T.A. Group is responsible for the application as the property owner.
New plans have been filed to repair and rehabilitate the historic Hotel Sequoia at 911 K Street in Downtown Sacramento. The plan will refresh the historical features of the 1906-built six-story and improve interior functions within the Cesar Chavez Plaza Park Historic District. John Stewart Company is the project owner and architect.
More funds have been secured for the Sacramento Valley Station redevelopment plan, a vision to shape the city’s historic transit hub and seventh busiest Amtrak station in the country into a dense pedestrian-oriented destination. The State awarded $42 million to the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority to fund the new bus depot, part of the early phasing for construction.
Construction is in progress for a residential project proposed for development at 1330 N Street in Downtown, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story residential building offering residential units, onsite parking, and commercial spaces. D&S Development is the project developer. HRGA Architecture is responsible for the new designs.
