Grosvenor Acquires Fully Entitled 2600 Telegraph Avenue In Kono District, Oakland

A new update has been released for the eight-story residential development planned at 2600 Telegraph Avenue in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. Real estate company Grosvenor has acquired the development. Furthering its investment in the East Bay, Grosvenor will add 225 rental residences, including affordable housing near public transit. The proposal will replace surface parking and a low-rise commercial structure with 225 residential units and ground-floor retail. BAR Architects is responsible for the design.

Reduced Height, New Renderings for 50 Main Street in Atlas Block, San Francisco

The proposed 50 Main Street tower has shrunk by 74 feet. Hines has published new plans for the city’s potential second-tallest skyscraper, following San Francisco Planning Department recommendations. The updated plans show that 50 Main Street is now proposed to rise 992 feet tall, which does still retain its position as the city’s second-tallest building. Along with this revelation, the documents provide new insight into the Atlas Block campus. Foster + Partners is the architect for 50 Main Street.

The City of Oakland has published the environmental analysis for 2929 Broadway, a seven-story mixed-use project located on Pill Hill, Oakland. The study concludes that the project is eligible for streamlining through the California Environmental Quality Act process, hastening the path toward approval and construction of 220 apartments.
