Design review permits have been filed for the seven-story mixed-use development of 1116 8th Street in Midtown Sacramento, between Kayak Alley and L Street. The construction will be an infill-project to bring 25 new apartments, 3,490 square feet for a restaurant, and 2,825 square feet of offices. SKK Developments is behind the proposal.
New building permits have been accepted for a new small residential building at 2526 Q Street in Midtown Sacramento. The development will produce a two-story duplex structure, doubling the residential density of the parcel. The architectural style will remain cohesive throughout the process, with design by Sacramento-based Tim Sullivan Engineering Inc.
Building permits have been filed for a duplex at 1423-1425 20th Street in Sacramento’s Midtown neighborhood. The structure will yield a combined 4,014 square feet. The first unit will contain 1,800 units, with 2,200 square feet for the other. GRAber-Rasmussen Architects is responsible for the design.
Permits have been filed for a residential expansion at 1612 P Street, right near the border of Midtown and Downtown Sacramento. The project will add 23 new apartments beside a five-year-old building named the 16 Powerhouse. Demmon Partners are responsible for the addition after purchasing 16 Powerhouse for $32.5 million and the underdeveloped parcel at 1612 P for just under $1.5 million.
