Gensler has announced it has signed a new lease, moving its San Francisco offices from 45 Fremont Street to the Mills Building at 220 Montgomery Street in the Financial District. The recently-renovated offices offer Gensler one consecutive floor. Swig Company is the property owner.
New building and demolition permits have been filed for a project proposed at 2800 Geary Boulevard in Presidio Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story mixed-use building offering residential and retail spaces. Shamrock Real Estate Co is the project owner. ELEVATION Architects is responsible for the designs.
Demolition work is nearly complete at 555 Bryant Street, making way for a new 16-story mixed-use infill in SoMa, San Francisco. The 0.75-acre site will soon be home to 501 apartments nearby a new MUNI Central Subway station and Caltrain. Strada Investment Group is the project developer.
New plans have been filed to expand and renovate the Synagogue at 2 Lake Street near Presidio Terrace, San Francisco. The project would address seismic concerns and expand the religious facility for the Congregation Emanu-El, whose distinctive dome overlooks the affluent gated neighborhood. The project is being sponsored by the Congregation of Emanu-El and Equity Community Builders.
New building permits have been filed for the 12-story office proposal at 490 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The filing comes several months after the property was purchased by Trammell Crow from Strada Investment Group.
