Construction has officially started for the new affordable housing on Hunters Point Shipyards’ Blocks 52 and 54 in San Francisco. The bayside project will bring 112 multi-family units at two sites with funding from the Office of Community Infrastructure and Investment. Jonathan Rose Companies and Bayview Senior Services are jointly responsible for the project as co-developers.

Mercy Housing California is the property owner.

The project requires the existing commercial building on the site to be demolished. Linden Station Columbus, LLC is the building owner. Elevation Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
New plans have been published for a new three-story mixed-use infill at 380 Ivy Street in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. The low-slung plan will replace the six-car garage for 534 Octavia Street with three new homes and bicycle parking. JDSF Properties, linked with a San Mateo-based contractor, is listed as the property owner.
Crews have finished excavation for the nine-story life sciences infill at 580 Dubuque Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The property is between Highway 101, the Grand Avenue overpass, and the newly relocated Caltrain station. IQHQ is sponsoring the project through South City Ventures LLC.
