This would give the city a ten story hotel bordering the Nob Hill neighborhood in San Francisco. The structure is between Hyde Street and Larkin Street. It’s in a dense and desirable area in walking distance to the Polk Gulch and Tenderloin neighborhoods, and not far from Chinatown.

Groundbreaking for BUSD Workforce Housing at 1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley

Construction has officially started for the six-story affordable housing complex at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Northwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The groundbreaking ceremony was held by the Berkeley Unified School District in partnership with the non-profit developers Abode Communities and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates. Once complete, the project will offer over a hundred units for educators in the city.

Limited Partnership Formed For Affordable Teacher Housing at 1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley

Two developers have submitted permits to formalize a limited partnership for the affordable housing proposal at 1701 San Pablo Avenue in Northwest Berkeley, Alameda County. The existing surface parking lot is owned by the Berkeley Unified School District. Once complete, the 110 affordable apartments will prioritize School District employees and familiars. Abode Communities and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates will be joint developers.
