A new proposal could bring 30 units of townhome-style housing to the South Bay City of Sunnyvale. The site located at 1313 South Wolfe Road would span an area currently occupied by a Wendy’s, its parking lot, and an area of unoccupied space. Developers at 4Terra are hoping to convert the low-density commercial and unused space into 29 new residential units.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a small residential infill at 2812 8th Street in West Berkeley, Alameda County. The development will add four apartments in three separate buildings, a few blocks from Berkeley Bowl West. 4Terra Investments is listed as the project sponsor, filing on behalf of the property owners.
City officials gathered earlier this month to celebrate the grand opening of Madrone Terrace, a five-story affordable housing complex at 16060 East 14th Street in Ashland, Alameda County. The project adds 79 apartments close to the Bayfair BART Station and shopping mall. Berkeley-based RCD Housing is the project developer.
A new mixed-use residential project has been proposed for development at 2100 Milvia Street in Downtown Berkeley. The project proposal includes the development of a new eight-story mixed-use residential complex offering 201 dwelling units and commercial space on the ground floor. Once approved, the project will require the demolition of an existing three-story structure on the site.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is scheduled to review plans for the seven-story 2550 Shattuck Avenue close to Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal aims to create 72 apartments with retail for the corner lot. 4Terra Investments is listed as the project applicant.
