Facade installation is all but finished for the latest residential tower in Silicon Valley, MIRO. The project is located at 181 East Santa Clara Street in Downtown San Jose, directly across from the Meier & Partners-designed City Hall tower. A recent site visit by SFYIMBY shows the pace of construction, just as the leasing agent Greystar has shared new renderings of the nearly complete amenities.
New building permits have been filed to construct a four-story senior housing building and community center at 70 and 76 North Winchester Boulevard, Santa Clara. These addresses are part of the multi-building mixed-use development dubbed Santa Clara Agrihood. The City entered a private-public partnership with Core Companies to construct 1.5 acres of agriculture connected to 361 homes, of which the City will sell 181 as affordable.
New building permits have been filed for constructing a six-story mixed-use building at 2750 19th Street, to be known as the Fitzgerald, in the Mission District, San Francisco. The project will bring sixty-three residential units and 10,560 square feet of light industrial use. Align Real Estate is responsible for the development.
Construction is moving quickly on the 26-story tower at 30 Otis Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Since SFYIMBY’s update in late September, the concrete structure has topped out, and the curtain wall glass facade is just a handful of stories from the peak. Once complete, the project will produce 418 new residential units in the ‘The Hub,’ a rezoned district as part of the city’s master plan. Align Development is responsible for the design.
