The latest iteration shows a new design from David Baker Architects, with eight fewer units to comply with open space requirements. San Francisco-based Martin Building Company is responsible for the development.
The previous proposal for 1101-1123 Sutter Street called for a 14-story residential infill with over two hundred homes in Lower Nob Hill, San Francisco. Now, new modified project plans have been shared for a 22-story complex, with more housing to match. Martin Building Company is the project developer.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing single-story commercial structure at 1567 California Street in Polk Gulch, San Francisco. The property is expected to be replaced by a nine-story mixed-use infill with housing and new retail space along the street. David Baker Architects will design the new building.
Construction work has been making progress for the new Palo Alto Public Safety Building at 250 Sherman Avenue in Palo Alto’s Evergreen Park neighborhood. Groundbreaking occurred in June of this year, replacing downtown surface parking with a three-story municipal office building for the Santa Clara County city. The building will function as a police station and administration office for the fire and police departments.
