Initial renderings have been revealed for a dense residential project at Mission Bay Block 4 East in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. The proposal will create four hundred affordable apartments across two structures, rising 16 stories and 23 stories respectively across two phases. Curtis Development and Bayview Senior Services are the joint developers.
Crews are nearing the pinnacle of the 17-story affordable housing tower in San Francisco’s East Cut neighborhood. Transbay Block 2 East is now 14 floors above street-level, with only a few levels left before the family apartment tower will reach its peak at 230 Folsom Street. Mercy Housing is the project developer.
Construction has topped out with facade installation complete for the nine-story affordable senior housing complex dubbed Transbay Block 2 West in East Cut, San Francisco. The project is looking close to opening all 151 units in the heart of the high-rise neighborhood. Chinatown Community Development Center is the project developer.
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote later today to provide a $115.8 million construction loan for affordable housing at Transbay Block 2 East. The proposal is expected to rise 17 stories tall and bring 184 below-market-rate rental apartments to 200 Folsom Street in the heart of the densely-developed Transbay neighborhood. Mercy Housing is the project sponsor.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing single-story terminal building of Transbay Block 2 at 200 Folsom Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The permit was proceeded by new building permits from mid-November of last year for two future affordable housing developments with a total of 335 homes. The city’s planning department has yet to issue the permits to both developer, Mercy Housing, and the Chinatown Community Development Center.
