Public Hearing Tomorrow for 3150 El Camino Real, Palo Alto

The Palo Alto Planning Commission is scheduled to vote tomorrow to merge five parcels to facilitate the construction of over three hundred units at 3150 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The seven-story proposal is just one of several filed to form a dense new enclave south of the California Avenue Caltrain Station. Acclaim Properties and Stanford University are jointly responsible for the application.

Builder’s Remedy Application Filed for 3150 El Camino Real, Palo Alto

Acclaim Companies has filed an alternative application for what is now a builder’s remedy-assisted plan to develop 3150 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The seven-story project, initially filed this June, aims to build 380 new homes on the 2.55-acre site. Communications with the city’s planning department show the developer is filing the second application in response to the department’s signal of disapproval for the increased housing.

Construction Update for Middle Plaza at 200-500 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, Silicon Valley

A recent site visit by SFYIMBY reveals that construction is well underway for the mixed-use development at Middle Plaza in Menlo Park, Silicon Valley. The project will bring 215 new apartments beside 10,000 square feet of retail, a new public park, and 276,610 square feet of new office space within walking distance from a Caltrain station. Stanford University is sponsoring the development.
