Project review permits have been filed to retrofit a historic nine-story hotel to housing or student housing at 1075 Sutter Street in Polk Gulch, San Francisco. The proposal has been designed by Stanton Architecture, while Los Angeles-based Hawkins Way Capital is the property owner.
Development permits were submitted seeking the approval of constructing a five-level office building at 130 Townsend Street in South Beach, San Francisco. The project proposal includes a vertical addition to the existing structure featuring retail space on the ground floor and a new building that will allow for a five-level mixed-use building. The addition proposes 34,120 square feet of office space and 2,353 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
A new Marriott-owned hotel is quickly rising at 1431 Jefferson Street, just two blocks from Frank H. Ogawa Plaza in Downtown Oakland. The concrete structure has reached the half-way point in its march to the 18th floor. Once complete, it’ll open up 276 hotel rooms, of which roughly half will be managed by a Marriott Residence Inn and the other half by the Marriott-owned AC Hotel. Hawkins Way Capital is responsible for the development after fully purchasing the property in 2019 for $30 million.
