The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story residential building offering dwelling units and onsite amenities. San Francisco-based Related California is the project developer. MVE + Partners is designing the building.
Construction financing has been secured for the 189-unit residential development at 85 Cleaveland Road in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa County. The project has received $94.3 million arranged by JLL Capital Markets with Gemdale USA, Bank OZK, and AvalonBay Communities.

The proposal, dubbed the Iron Horse Village, would replace commercial buildings with low-density detached and attached housing. Nearon Enterprises, an investment company, based in Walnut Creek, is listed as the property owner. Lennar is the project developer.
