New renderings have been revealed for the proposed townhouses at 2701 Hooper Drive in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The development will replace Golden Skate, established in 1976 and one of the last roller skating rinks in the Bay Area. Hassan Sharifi, the owner of Golden Skate, is responsible for the development through Windflower Fields LLC as the property owner.
ROEM Development Corp has introduced reduced plans 2251 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, a corner lot in the suburban town of San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The Santa Clara-based firm is now proposing to build 60 townhouse units with affordable housing, a decrease from the 169-unit apartment complex first drafted. City staff has deemed the project below the required minimum density.
The San Ramon planning commission is scheduled to hear plans about demolishing the Golden Skate roller rink. The project would create 47 townhome units across 3.5 acres of land within the Crow Canyon Specific Plan. However, the application is significantly smaller than the 2017-era proposal for a 227-unit apartment building. The San Ramon Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a 72-unit townhome development at 2233 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Contra Costa County. The proposal would see Trumark Homes remake a commercial parcel used for masonry supply storage at Deerwood Road, San Ramon Valley Boulevard, and Fostoria Way.
Plans are under review for a new senior housing project at Bishop Ranch 1A in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The proposal is part of the much larger 4,500-unit CityWalk master plan, spearheaded by Sunset Development to create a new district in the city. This first portion will create 183 beds, offering assisted and independent living for seniors living in the Tri-Valley. The Texas-based Belmont Village Senior Housing company is sponsoring the development.
