New renderings have been published for a seven-story apartment complex to rise at 1202 Kifer Road in Sunnyvale. The project was released for a study session meeting earlier this week, with the project located in the heart of the burgeoning Lawrence Station Area Plan in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara. Pacific General Construction is responsible for the application.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 444 Old San Francisco Road in Sunnyvale. The project proposal includes the construction of a residential project bringing three-story townhomes. Plans call for the demolition of the existing one-story single-family residence on the site. Silicon Valley Wzredwood Capital LLC is the project owner and applicant. ZSD Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Just two years after the Macy’s shopping mall was demolished in the center of Downtown Sunnyvale, construction has moved fast for phase two. A recent site visit by YIMBY has shown two seven-story offices and the twelve-story apartment complex have topped out, with facade installation underway. Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group are jointly responsible for the project, part of the 36-acre Cityline Sunnyvale master plan.
Plans have been approved for Moffett Park Specific Plan, a 1,270-acre industrial neighborhood set to become a new mixed-use district in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The rezoning of the waterfront area would result in around 20,000 homes and over ten million square feet of new commercial space with improvements to transit, walkability, and cycling.
