New renderings have been released along with CUA approval for 1525 Pine Street, an eight-story residential proposal with adaptive reuse of the historic Grubstake facade in Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project was approved in July. An appeal was filed last week by neighbors, though it is widely expected to fail. San Francisco-based Pine Street Development is responsible for the project.
San Francisco Planning Commission has scheduled a meeting to review a residential project proposed at 4300 17th Street in Corona Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story residence with onsite amenities and landscaped areas.
The Registry San Francisco has reported that Strada Investment Group purchased the site for their proposed residential tower at 555 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Strada reportedly closed on the property for $44.9 million. The proposed building is expected to create 500 new rental units, including some affordable housing.
New renderings have been revealed alongside the Draft Environmental Review for 1101-1123 Sutter Street in Polk Gulch, San Francisco. The project will rise 14 stories to create 221 residential units, including affordable housing, on top of retail and child care facilities. 1101 Sutter Affordable, LP is the project sponsor and developer.
Plans are under review to make adaptive reuse of the existing building at 350 San Jose Avenue to more than triple residential capacity. The property is in San Francisco’s Mission District, seven minutes from the 24th Street Mission BART station by foot. Most remarkably, the proposal requires moving the existing building fifteen feet forward toward the sidewalk. SIA Consulting is behind the development process and design.
