Permits have been filed for demolition of existing office and industrial space located at 180 and 186 Constitution Drive Belle Haven, Menlo Park. The permits also include the demolition of all building structures, related underground, and at-grade infrastructure. Both project site locations have light-industrial land-use. New residential construction is proposed at this site and is called Menlo Uptown Project.
A site visit by SF YIMBY shows construction is well underway for the Brooklyn Basin development, one of the largest in the city of Oakland with thousands of units and two planned skyscrapers. One of the residential structures is already accepting move-ins, and two others are nearing completion. Located adjacent to the gentrifying Jack London District, it is a new mixed-use district with 3,100 new units, 200,00 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, a few marinas, and thirty acres of public parks.
CIM Group and Strada Investment Group announced earlier this week that construction is over for the 16-story residential building at 1150 Clay Street in Downtown Oakland. Residential move-ins will begin imminently, adding 288 new apartments to the market.
Permits have been filed to double the residential capacity of 619-621 West Grand Avenue in Downtown Oakland. The proposal will add 2,370 square feet to an existing duplex for a total of 4,440 square feet. Lillian Rafii is listed as the site owner.
New renderings reveal plans for eighteen unit townhouse development on an underutilized lot at 1925 Brush Street in the Ralph Bunche neighborhood of West Oakland. The address sits just across from Downtown Oakland on the other side of I-980. Riaz Capital is responsible for the development.
