A new residential project has been proposed for development at 305 Liberty Street in the Castro-Upper Market neighborhood in San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story residential building with a single-dwelling unit and an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) filed under a separate permit. The project called for the demolition of a two-story building on the site. Liberty 305 LLC is the property owner. Zack De Vito Architecture is responsible for the designs.

Jay Hotel Opening Soon at 333 Battery Street in Financial District, San Francisco

Renovation work is wrapping up for what will become the only new hotel to open in San Francisco’s Financial District. The former Le Méridien at 333 Battery Street was purchased by KHP Capital Partners for $221 million in 2021 and is expected to open later this year as the Jay Hotel. The 25-story hotel first opened in 1989 with the architecture by John Portman & Associates.
