March Capital Management is continuing to pursue an adaptive reuse of the former private library for Cooper Medical College in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. Updated renderings show the firm is honing in on the design, led by BAR Architects, that includes interior renovations and expansion. The city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to review the plan in a public meeting this Thursday.
A new housing project is all set to break ground today at its project site at 3301 Kerner Boulevard in San Rafael. The project proposal includes the construction of a 100% permanent supportive housing complex. The project will convert a vacant office building on the site. Eden Housing is the project developer. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLP is responsible for the designs.
The pre-application has been filed for a new eight-story residential infill at 2660 Bancroft Way and the adaptive reuse of the Bancroft Hotel at 2680 Bancroft Way in Berkeley’s Southside neighborhood. The plans will add over a hundred homes directly across from UC Berkeley. Daryl Ross, the owner of Bancroft Hotel, is listed as the property owner.
New renderings have been revealed for the adaptive reuse of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church and Parish Hall at 1433 12th Street in Oakland, Alameda County. The plans will reshape the 1887-built religious facility with new affordable housing and community facilities. Strive Wealth Builders is the project sponsor.
New development permits have been filed for residential expansion at 1440 23rd Street in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project would increase the dwelling unit capacity of the 5,000 square foot property from two to nine units. REO Homes is responsible for the application, with founder Neill Sullivan operating through Motor City OZ Holdings LLC.
