The proposal will produce just over a hundred units, adaptively reusing the existing structure while reskinning the facade and adding a floor. The application states construction could start as early as next summer. Emerald Fund and SDG are jointly responsible for the application.
Plans have surfaced to potentially convert vacant offices and garage space into housing at 2310 Mason Street in San Francisco. The existing structure is a four-story commercial building from 1968 between the Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach neighborhoods. My My Ly Architects is responsible for the application and design.
A new Zoning Worksheet was filed for the site of the former Holy Names University Campus at 3500 Mountain Boulevard in Oakland. This project was first reported on by SF YIMBY in February of this year, when it initially filed for expedited consideration under Senate Bill 330. The new filing this summer will mark the start of their formal application for the project, carrying over many of the same plans as the earlier submission. BH Properties and Tidewater Capital are still the site’s developers.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is scheduled to review plans tonight for an office-to-housing conversion at 3101 Sacramento Street in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The project would result in a mixed-use corner building with three apartments and offices. Suheil Khoury is listed as the property owner.
