A Notice of Exemption was recently filed with CEQA, permitting the construction of a large infill project at 555 West Midfield Road in Mountain View. The project is brought by the existing site owners, AvalonBay Communities, who currently manage 404 apartment units at the address. The new project will add an additional 323 units, for a total of 727 on the site.

The City of Berkeley’s Zoning Adjustments Board will meet today to discus a proposed zoning change for a project at 1740 University Avenue in Berkeley.
