The planned project would keep the property exterior unchanged, while making interior modifications to the layout and building use. The main expected change from the renovations is the conversion of its existing office and retail space to nine additional housing units and residential support spaces.

Planning permits have been filed to convert an historic six-story commercial structure into housing at 901 Market Street in the Mid-Market neighborhood of San Francisco. The project would replace the upper retail and office spaces with 136 dwelling units, while retaining ground-floor shop space. Hudson Pacific Properties is responsible for the application.

Meeting Today to Review Extension Request for 2015 Bridgeway in Sausalito

A hearing is to be conducted later today by the Sausalito Zoning Administrator’s office to review the request for an extension on the permits for a development at 2015 Bridgeway, on Sausalito’s main commercial corridor. The project plans to convert an existing three-story office building into a multi-unit residential building. The process requires a full interior remodel and some external refinishing. After experiencing some delays, the property owner has appealed to the city for an extension of what may still be a viable and beneficial project.

Permits have been filed for a retail-to-housing conversion at 145 Bosworth Street by the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. The project would add more than double the site’s residential capacity with changes to the ground-floor commercial space and second-floor apartments. Mauricio Hercules is listed as the property owner.

The proposal would remake the rear yard behind the historic Bartlett Houses, converting a former stable into housing and constructing a three-story duplex. Studio KDA is responsible for the application on behalf of the property owner, Nathan D. George of NX Ventures.

The project would convert an existing two story commercial space into 12 residential units. Three small retail spaces will remain at the street front of the property. The change from previously approved commercial usage to mixed residential is what will be discussed for zoning purposed.
