The proposal would remake the rear yard behind the historic Bartlett Houses, converting a former stable into housing and constructing a three-story duplex. Studio KDA is responsible for the application on behalf of the property owner, Nathan D. George of NX Ventures.
New plans released for 1373 Clay street in San Francisco include details for renovations that would increase the building’s unit capacity by six units. The structure, named the Krabbenschmit building, is owned and developed privately. The plans detail a two part approach to the expansion, including both renovation and addition.
Formal permits have been filed for the adaptive reuse of an office tower at 2121 South El Camino Real near the Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo, San Mateo County. The project is looking to convert the 12-story office tower into a 144-unit residential complex. Tennessee-based Tourbineau Real Estate Partners is the project developer.
Preliminary permits have been filed to convert a five-story hotel into housing at 988 Broadway in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The development could transform the Oakland Courtyard By Marriott into a 64-unit apartment complex. Core Capital Investments and Gaw Capital are jointly responsible for the application.
