Updated Plans Published for Cambrian Park Plaza, Willow Glen, San Jose

New plans have been published regarding Cambrian Park Plaza, an 18.13-acre mixed-use development in Willow Glen, San Jose. The proposal will replace a 168,460 square feet commercial strip mall and surface parking with housing, commercial space, and open parks heavily inspired by several Italian cities. The new updates include new illustrations, preservation of the carousel at Cambrian Park Plaza, and shifting the location for townhomes. Weingarten Realty Investors is responsible for the development as the property owner.

Meeting Scheduled For A Mixed-Use Tower At 19 North 2nd Street, San Jose Today

Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a mixed-use project at 19 North 2nd Street in downtown San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a residential tower with commercial space and senior housing. Plans call for the demolition of the interior of a 15,000 square-foot historic building while retaining and integrating the street-facing two-story facade and parapet. Roygbiv Real Estate Development is the project developer. Anderson Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

Permits Filed for Senior Housing Townhouses in Santa Clara’s Agrihood Development

New building permits have been filed for three townhouse structures to be built at 1834 Worthington Circle as part of Santa Clara’s Agrihood showpiece development. The three buildings will contribute 36 new dwelling units as part of the multi-structure 361-unit project with an acre and a half of agricultural land. The development is a private-public partnership with the City of Santa Clara and Core Companies.
