The San Francisco Planning Commission is reviewing plans for the expansion of the San Francisco University High School at 3150 California Street in the Pacific Heights. The proposal is to replace the existing facility on-site, a small strip mall, and surface parking with the three-story new school. Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects is responsible for the design.
New renderings have been filed for a 100% affordable housing development at 2530 18th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District neighborhood. The eight-story project will expand the Homeless Prenatal Program facilities and create 73 new homes. HPP is the property owner, represented by the Equity Community Builders. Mercy Housing is the developer.
Construction is nearly complete for the twelve-story mixed-use Bowes Center at 200 Van Ness Avenue in the Civic Center, San Francisco. The project has already opened its doors to students from the San Francisco Ballet and will eventually offer free student performances to the general public. Mark Cavagnero Associates is responsible for the design.
New permits have been filed to start excavation work to expand the San Francisco Marin Food Bank at 900 Pennsylvania Avenue on Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The new construction will provide a nearly fifty-percent increase to the built area, expanding the ability to serve those in need. The SF Marin Food Bank are the property owners, while Equity Community Builders is the project applicant to manage development.
Development permits were filed seeking the approval of additional construction at 3150 California Street in Presidio Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes constructing a three-story building for academic, athletic, and administration uses. The project will demolish an existing mid-block two-story office building with a retail store and a twenty-two-space surface parking lot.
