New Building Permits Filed For First Phase of 3333 California Street, San Francisco

New building permits have been filed for the first three structures within the UCSF Laurel Heights campus redevelopment, dubbed the Presidio Highlands, at 3333 California Street, San Francisco. The recent filings look to add 152 residential units, a fifth of the full build-out expected for the former educational space. Prado Group and SKS Partners are jointly responsible for the development.

Renovations Proposed for San Francisco Art Institute

A meeting has been scheduled before the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission to discuss proposed renovations for the San Francisco Art Institute’s Brown and Clay buildings. The two buildings in question are located at 800 Chestnut Street in the Russian Hill neighborhood. Jensen Architects are the project designers.

Meeting Today for 3333 California Street, San Francisco

The San Francisco Planning Department is scheduled to review an updated development agreement with Prado Group and SKS Partners for the residential redevelopment of 3333 California Street in Laurel Heights. The developer hopes to replace the former UCSF campus with 744 homes, retail, and public open space. The most significant change to the 2019-approved agreement is the potential for a new financing plan.
