Groundbreaking Ceremony For 300 De Haro Street, San Francisco

Construction has officially started for the 11-story infill at 300 De Haro Street at the bottom of Potrero Hill in San Francisco. The groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday morning with State Senator Scott Weiner, the project team, and community members in attendance. Once complete, the triangular development will add over four hundred units of affordable housing overlooking 16th and De Haro Street. DM Development and MRK Partners are jointly responsible for the project.

Development Permit Filed for 2500 76th Avenue in Oakland

In the latest news for a project at 2500 76th Avenue, development permits have been filed, allowing for the progression of the project to its next stage and eventual construction. The large-scale project in the Eastmont neighborhood of Oakland was first reported on by SF YIMBY in August of last year. Since then, the project has seen rapid progress towards approvals, with various permits being filed this year.

The transit-oriented neighborhood is continuing to grow across from the West Dublin BART Station in Dublin, Alameda County. Construction has officially started on the latest addition, a new affordable senior housing complex at 7750 Saint Patrick Way, with over a hundred homes. Eden Housing is the project developer working in collaboration with the City of Dublin.

The filing looks to replace a surface parking lot across from the Armory with an 11-story apartment complex. MX3 Ventures is the project applicant, filing through MM Stevenson LLC.

Preliminary Plans For Pacifica Quarry Residential Redevelopment, San Mateo County

Preliminary plans have been filed for Coastal Crest Residences, a potential residential redevelopment of the Pacifica Quarry Site by Rockaway Beach. The builder’s remedy-assisted application looks to create a new residential neighborhood of over a thousand affordable units pushed back from the San Mateo County coastline. The project is a joint venture led by Paul Heule’s Michigan-based company, Eenhoorn.

New renderings have been revealed for an affordable senior housing development at 2500 76th Avenue in Eastmont, Oakland. The proposal will bring nearly a hundred units to the vacant lot along Bancroft, four blocks from Eastmont Town Center. The five-story plan is a joint venture with Black Cultural Zone Community Development Corporation and Eden Housing.

The updates include several concessions to reduce the project’s impact along Coleridge Street, though no changes will be made to the residential capacity. Construction has officially started for the six-story affordable housing project at 3300 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission Bernal corridor. The groundbreaking ceremony was held last Thursday with the developers, Mayor London Breed, State Senate Scott Weiner, and Supervisor Hillary Ronen. The project is notable for making adaptive reuse of the existing burnt-out structure while doubling the site’s height to yield 35 units on less than a tenth of an acre.
