A planning application have been filed for a six-story affordable apartment building at 1465 Civic Court in Concord, Contra Costa County. If built, the project will produce 63 affordable senior housing units, including an on-site manager’s unit. The development will subdivide the lot and demolish a small surface parking lot.
The City Council approved a townhouse project in downtown Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The project proposal includes the construction of a residential development offering twelve townhomes on Stuart Street. The project was approved despite objections raised by the nearby school and some residents, stating that it could generate too much traffic and put the safety of children at risk. Alameda-based Bay Area Urban Development is the project developer. Studio FCF is managing the design concepts and construction.
Permits have been filed for a three-story mixed-use development at 375 Parker Avenue in Rodeo, Contra Costa County. Rodeo is a relatively small town of roughly 8,700 residents along Interstate 80. The proposed development would create 22 new units and ground-level retail at the intersection of Parker Avenue and Fourth Street.
New renderings have been revealed for City Village, a 404-unit residential development at 2400-2440 Camino Ramon in San Ramon’s Bishop Ranch office park.
