Preliminary permits have been filed for a large podium complex at 220 West 20th Avenue in San Mateo, San Mateo County. The proposal will add over two hundred units to a large plot of land near the intersection of El Camino Real and Highway 92. SummerHill Apartments is the project developer.
The City of Oakland’s Planning and Building Department has approved development permits for an eight-story mixed use building on a vacant parking lot in Downtown Oakland. The narrow parking lot is located at 585 17th Street, between Clay and Jefferson. Developers FH1 Investments have brought in BDE Architecture for the project design.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a small residential infill project at 2519 Victorian Alley in Newton Booth, Sacramento. The proposal looks to bring four units to a vacant lot in a boxy construction. Skyline Build and Design Inc. is the project designer and contractor.
Construction has topped out for the new La Scuola International School building at 3270 18th Street in the Mission District, San Francisco. The project will add a third structure to the Italian-immersion school’s Mission Campus. Build Group is the construction contractor responsible for the construction.
New plans have surfaced for a high-density affordable housing project at Mission Bay South Block 4 East in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. While the proposal is in its early stages and details may change, the plans involve two buildings in two phases, with the taller structure rising 23 floors high. Curtis Development is the project sponsor.
