The Walnut Creek Design Review Commission will discuss the plans to replace the Dutch Girl Cleaners and surface parking with 74 apartments. Local resident Steve Depper is the property owner and developer.
Formal permits have been filed for a three-story mansion to rise at 3456 Washington Street in Presidio Heights, San Francisco. The project would replace a 67-year-old home with a bespoke residence and an accessory dwelling unit for the Gap Inc. co-founder and local billionaire, Doris F. Fisher. San Francisco-based Obata Noblin Office is responsible for the design.
More documents, including a design review and notice of exemption, have been filed with CEQA on behalf of a project located at 2433 Mariner Square Drive in Alameda. Previously reported on by SF YIMBY in 2024, the project is being brought by The Martin Group with plans to transform the West Alameda parcel. The current commercial area would be replaced by high-rise residential with views of downtown Oakland, the Port of Oakland, and across the San Francisco Bay.
Preliminary permits have been filed for a small residential infill project to rise at 230 Anza Street in San Francisco’s Lone Mountain neighborhood. The proposal aims to replace a currently vacant house with a three-unit infill. Oakland-based Ivyhills LLC is listed as the project sponsor.
Permits have been filed for a potential new skyscraper to replace the existing Golden Gate University campus at 536 Mission Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The plans consider two variants for the site, building either a 698-foot-tall mixed-use tower or a 752-foot-tall office tower. If built today, the project could become the fifth or sixth-tallest building in the Bay Area. Lincoln Property Company and McCourt Partners are jointly responsible for the application.
