The first application was submitted three months ago, with city staff now determining the project can proceed with Assembly Bill 2011, which allows for by-right approval for eligible housing on commercially-zoned lands. Strada Investment Group is the sponsor and developer.
New renderings have been shared for the proposed six-story apartment complex at 1721 15th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project is looking to add 52 for-ownership apartments just a few blocks from the 16th Street Mission BART Station and the Mission Dolores Park. The Toboni Group is the project developer and is responsible for the application.
The South San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for a three-story apartment complex at 227 Armour Avenue. The proposal would cover half of a small lot to add four units to a low-slung residential neighborhood. San Bruno-based Andrea Costanzo is responsible for the design.
Kennedy Wilson has provided a $183 million construction loan for Alexan Icon, a large residential development set to rise at 1587 and 1588 San Mateo Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project is looking to add nearly five hundred units across two seven-story structures. Hanover Company is the project developer.
Plans for the 47-story mixed-use tower at 30 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco are still on hold. However, a construction crane has returned to the site for limited work on the two-year-old foundation as the project developer, Lendlease, continues to wait before restarting work. The activity will ensure the existing site is stable with improvements to the sidewalk fencing.
