New Renderings for South San Jose’s Blossom Hill Station Project

New renderings have been released ahead of today’s planning commission for the Blossom Hill Station project at 605 Blossom Hill Road in South San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will replace roughly 5.4 acres of surface parking by light rail and buses with two new residential structures and ground-level retail. Republic Urban Properties is responsible for the project, operating through an LLC with EAH Housing working on the affordable housing component.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for Suzaco, a six-story commercial infill proposed across from City Hall and the new Miro towers in Downtown San Jose. The project will retain the historic facade at 142-150 East Santa Clara Street while constructing a four- to six-story mixed-use building on a U-shaped plot of land. Bayview Development Group is the project developer.

A new residential project has been planned at 102 East Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use townhouse community, redeveloping the western portion of the Fremont Corner shopping center. Plans call for subdivision of the parcel into five lots. The True Life Companies is the project applicant. Fremont Corners Inc is the property owner. SDG Architects is responsible for the design. R3 Studios is the landscape architect.

El Paseo de Saratoga Approved by San Jose City Council

El Paseo de Saratoga has been approved by the San Jose City Council. The project would bring new density to an area defined by suburban sprawl along Santa Clara County’s western edge. Constructions will replace a portion of a strip mall with nearly a thousand new homes, offices, and a new Whole Foods grocery store at 1312 El Paseo de Saratoga and 1777 Saratoga Avenue. Sand Hill Property is the project developer.
