The project proposal includes the development of a residential project consisting of apartments and townhome condominiums. Los Altos Planning Commission has approved a 100 percent affordable housing project for development at 330 Distel Circle, Los Altos. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story apartment community offering dwelling units at affordable rates. EAH Housing is the project developer.
Initial plans for a 284-unit apartment complex at 130 Market Place in a vacant portion of a shopping center have been nixed in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. After receiving an onslaught of community pushback, the centrally-located proposal, nearby City Hall, and public library will now create just 40 single-family units and four junior ADUs. TRC Retail, the shopping center owner, is responsible for the application.
New plans have been approved for a residential project at 4300 Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The construction will create housing, shops, and a new hotel, but crucially not the once-proposed offices that would bring the desired job growth near housing proposed in the Urban Village Planning. Downsized entitlement permits have been filed for the mixed-use infill in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project will replace a former Fry’s building with 74 new townhomes at 3200 Park Boulevard and new R&D office space at 340 Portage Avenue by the California Avenue Caltrain station.
