New renderings have been revealed for the proposed townhouses at 2701 Hooper Drive in San Ramon, Contra Costa County. The development will replace Golden Skate, established in 1976 and one of the last roller skating rinks in the Bay Area. Hassan Sharifi, the owner of Golden Skate, is responsible for the development through Windflower Fields LLC as the property owner.
Renderings have been published for the residential proposal at 1477 Huntington Avenue in Lindenville, South San Francisco. The seven-story development hopes to add 262 new apartments, including some affordable housing, across from a few other potential high-density apartment blocks with retail, BART and Caltrain station nearby. Overton Moore Properties is responsible for the application via Infill Land Partners LLC.
Building permits have been approved and issued for 6700 Golden Gate Drive, a 499-home project in Dublin, Alameda County. AvalonBay Communities is responsible for the development. Having purchased the 8.5-acre property this April for $38.6 million, and with demolition work, construction is expected to start imminently.
A new mixed-use village with several hundred homes has been proposed at 681 East Trimble Road in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a large scale community offering residential and commercial spaces. The property at present consists of long-time orchard sites. Real estate firm The Hanover Co is the project developer. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts.
New aerial imagery shows construction has topped out for the first residential structure in the Tasman East Specific Plan, Santa Clara. Demolition has also finished on two more substantial sites. Tasman East is a multi-developer multi-structure mixed-use masterplan with plans to build as many as 4,500 new residential units with newly-laid streets, over a hundred thousand square feet of retail, a grocery store, school, open space, and affordable housing.
