Building permits have been issued facilitating the development of a supportive housing project proposed at 4801 Coliseum Way in Oakland. The project proposal includes the conversion of an existing motel to a supportive housing community with onsite services. Demolition work is required on the site which will be processed under separate permits. Danco Communities is the project applicant. Coliseum Motel LLC is the property owner. DG Group Architects is responsible for the designs.

Demolition Imminent for Affordable Housing Project at 750 West San Carlos , San Jose

Public records show that Santa Clara County has purchased the lot for affordable housing at 750 West San Carlos, located within walking distance of Diridon Station in San Jose. The developer will be The Danco Group, based in Arcata, Humboldt County with a long portfolio of affordable housing projects across California. The Danco Group president, Dan Johnson, tells SFYIMBY construction is starting next Monday.
