Renderings Revealed for Intuitive Offices by Foster + Partners at Kifer Road, Sunnyvale

Renderings have been revealed for a new Foster + Partners-designed office campus coming to Kifer Road in Sunnyvale. The project would produce a unified company campus for Sunnyvale-based Intuitive Surgical, a medical equipment company while replacing its existing office footprint. The new development would span 1.2 million square feet of office area with a capacity for 3,500 employees at full build-out.

Potrero Power Station Development Breaks Ground in Dogpatch, San Francisco

Construction has officially started on the Potrero Power Station development in Dogpatch, San Francisco, following yesterday’s groundbreaking ceremony. With Mayor London Breed in attendance, the event marks the beginning of a 29-acre redevelopment that will open up a portion of the city’s eastern waterfront to the public with 5.3 million square feet of offices, housing, and retail around public parks and transit featuring designs by Foster + Partners and Herzog & de Meuron. California Barrel Company of Associate Capital is responsible for the development.

Foster + Partners Design Revealed For Potrero Power Station, Dogpatch, San Francisco

New planning applications have been filed to begin the design review of three buildings from phase one of the Potrero Power Station mega-development in Dogpatch, San Francisco. Planning documents show the internationally acclaimed London-based Foster + Partners is the architect of Blocks 7A and 8, with block 7B by Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects. Associate Capital’s California Barrel Company LLC is managing the development of the 5.3 million square foot project.

Oceanwide Center’s Construction Pauses Temporarily

Reporting by the San Francisco Business Times reveals that Oceanwide Holdings have paused construction for the much-anticipated Oceanwide Center at 50 1st Street in SoMa, San Francisco. While crews have recently completed the foundation, this announcement makes clear that the structure will not be rising soon. Once resumed, it becomes the second tallest building in Northern California and fourth tallest in the state.
