New renderings have been revealed for an eight-story residential infill at 618 Octavia Street, within San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood. The project will replace a four-unit apartment complex with 40 new homes, including replacement apartments for the current residents. March Capital Fund is sponsoring the development.
New renderings have been published for a striking ten-story mixed-use building at 955 Sansome Street in Telegraph Hill, San Francisco. The development would replace a three-story garage with five dozen new homes and ground-level retail. Aralon Properties is responsible for the project.
Construction is finishing up on Coterie Cathedral Hill, a luxury senior housing development at 1001 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco’s small Cathedral Hill neighborhood. The project adds 209 new units to the poorly supplied market of high-end senior housing. Coterie Cathedral Hill will be just the second project for the new Coterie Brand, a collaboration between Related Companies and Atria Senior Living.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 1320 Washington Street in Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story building with a basement. Plans call for the demolition of an existing two-story commercial public parking garage. Handel Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
The eighth tallest skyscraper in the Bay Area planned or built is the Millennium Tower, a 645-foot tall residential building at 301 Mission Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Developed by Millennium Partners, the project was built between 2005 and 2009 opened as the tallest residential tower west of Chicago. Since 2016, the building has garnered international news for both tilting and sinking.
