The 29th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 706 Mission Street, the nearly complete residential building operated by Four Seasons Private Residences in SoMa, San Francisco. The skyscraper tops out at 510 feet to be the tallest building in the region actively under construction since activity on the Oceanwide Center was halted last year. Westbrook Partners is responsible for the development through 706 Mission Street Co LLC.

Concrete Starts Rising on Treasure Island in Largest Residential Development in the Region

While sales for housing on Yerba Buena Island are underway, the first sign of concrete is finally visible on Treasure Island. The first of many buildings to come is rising at parcel C3.2, a 100% affordable housing development called the Maceo May Apartments. Its 105 units are a fraction of the largest master plan for residential construction in the Bay Area. The approximately 8,000-unit plan for the two islands is being developed by Treasure Island Community Development (TICD), a partnership with Stockbridge Capital Group, Wilson Meany, and Lennar Corporation.

Planning Commission Poised to Approve Authorization of 321 Florida Street, Mission District, San Francisco

The planning commission meeting scheduled for 1 PM today is expected to approve two key requests by the nine-story mixed-use building at 321 Florida Street in the Mission District, San Francisco. City staff have recommended the commission adopt the shadow study demonstrating the building will not adversely impact Franklin Square Park’s sun-exposure and approve the Large Project Authorization application with conditions. DM Development is the project developer.
